S7 31 Raney Stanczak drops 10/9
*Orda66 Lair Podcast - New Episode w/ Raney Stanczak**
In this episode Raney breaks down what actually won that event - DEPTH.
The other squad had a skeleton crew of 6-7 guys running 5-6, while Raney's team had 10. Instead of running the stars every point, they did the opposite. They sat guys like Tyler - arguably the best player in paintball - and the 1v1 / fist-fight guys like T-Harm who can play snake, corners, anywhere.
They started running the hot 5 guys who hadn't been playing much. That's what won it.
Perfect example: Connor played a ton in prelims, sat most of match 1 and 2, came back in vs the Russians in match 3, then in the finals closed it out playing the last 4 points.
Raney's point: Everyone on this team is on the same playing level and can pretty much all hit. Everyone gets opportunities, and that's how we're going to win .
We had 10, they had 6. We benched our best guys and ran the hot
Everyone wants to play the stars. We won by NOT playing them.
In the new Orda66 Lair, Raney Stanczak talks about beating a short-handed squad with 10 deep vs their 5-6, sitting guys like Tyler and T-Harm, and tapping into the bench to win the event.
If you're coaching a deep roster, this is how you do it.
